Workshop & Information Session

This is a FREE program for parents with children aged 3-6 yo. (kids younger and older than this target age group maybe considered - please contact us if this is your case.

The program is designed in such a way that at the same time and location the parents are attending the information workshops, their kids are participating in the kids program.

Please note that the kids program for this summer session in partnership with the BrazilianAssociation.org will have a specially designed program for the kids with a content focused on Brazilian culture.

Parents with babies may attend with their kids.

When:  9:30 AM - 12:00 Noon every Wednesday from July 8 to Aug. 26, 2009

Where: Mosaic Centre Room 520, 910 7Ave SW (the name of the building is Northland Building)
if you are coming by  C-Train; stop at 8 street 7Ave. SW. and cross the road.  The building is across the street. Just 2 minutes walk.

This is opportunities for children to learn language, play together and develop pre-social behaviours and interactions through free- play, drama, role play, music, and story telling, etc.

This is also an opportunity for parents to learn more information, make friends, and effectively improve positive parenting skills.

The program provides opportunities for children to play together and develop pre-social behaviors and interactions through free play, drama, role play, music and stories telling etc. The program also provides opportunities for parents to learn more information, make friends, and effectively improve positive parenting skills.

Also the Brazilian Association is adding to this program a series of activities related to the Brazilian Portuguese language and the Brazilian Culture, planned and presented by an education professional, Camila D'Avila. This will be a wonderful opportunity for children to get in touch with the Portuguese Language and the Brazilian Culture through stories, songs and other fun activities.
